Well, what a big week it's been in my life! ( I'm practising to be the next Eddie). We had Bethany and her parents over last Saturday. I got her a bunch of pink carnations but got a bit shy when giving them to her. I think she was embarrassed 'cos she looked away. But as the evening went on she warmed up and even rolled on top of me! I asked her to show me how to roll like that because I get stuck on my side, but it's not that easy for me yet. I did get to kiss her though....apparently I need to work on it.

I can now make really great noises. Each day I can talk a bit higher and a bit louder. I talked to Aunty Jo on the phone today but she thought I was just screeching and laughed at me. Mum still can't understand me either.

I've got a new polarfleece jumper with a hood from Nan and Grandad. It's really cuddly and mum likes it because when I accidentally vomited it all landed in the hood and didn't hit the floor or her.

I have to thank Michael Payne for getting me oskartex.com for my birthday. I forgot to do it sooner.... sorry Michael! A big, big thank-you to you. I like being able to ramble on (I got that from Mum) and show everyone photo's of me (I got that from Dad).

I have started eating solids!! Well, not really solids, more sloppys. I have had rice cereal so far and Mum has fed it to me in my business class high chair. I'm getting the hang of it. I swallowed a bit but it's more fun to put my fingers in my mouth when I have a mouthful and feel it that way.

Mum finished knitting my new jumper a couple of days ago. It's blue with a pattern and elephants for buttons and I look really handsome wearing it! Snuggly and cuddly to wear. I've had trouble getting Mum to log on for me - she's been buried in Harry Potter again. But now she's finished book 4 so she can pay me more attention again.

I had breakfast at Brunetti this morning with Mum and Dad. Dad gave me a spoonful of cappuccino froth which felt really strange and tasted a bit funny - not like the milk I drink although Mum doesn't usually froth it for me. The were people filming there and I made lots of noise so they would film me but they didn't even notice.

Mum and I put in our footy tips this morning. My team Hawthorn are doing really well and I told Mum they'd win again this weekend. But we did tip Collingwood this week...

I've discovered that I can make really cool sounds if I try to talk with my fist in my mouth. Except it makes me dribble a bit. A lot. Anyway that's Mum's problem, she does the washing.

I saw the whole family over Easter. Grampa came down to visit from Ganmain and he took me for walks and played with me which was fun. We had Easter brekky at Aunty Jo's and I got heaps of Easter Eggs. Bliss!!! My Egg from Uncle Adam is 600 grams! That should take Mum a day and a half to eat. Granny got me a new sling which is really great. Mum can take me with her in it and have her hands free and I'm much more comfortable. Now I don't feel like she's going to drop me when she gets the mail. I get to have the whole afternoon with Granny today because Mum is having her hair cut. Finally!!

I'm going to play with Harry tonight and then Bethany is coming over on Saturday. Yay, a social weekend. Bethany sent me some photos her Mum took of us so they will be up when Dad gets around to it. Soon I hope.

I've had a horrible cold so I haven't written lately. But I've given it to Dad now and am feeling better. Except my nose is still all goopy and Mum keeps sticking wet cotton balls up there. Icky!

I went out with Nan and Mum on Saturday to the Flower and Garden Show. So many trees to look at and lots of people. We visited Sue and Trevor at their stand and I saw Emily and Will who are both older than me. Hopefully Mum will take me to visit them again soon at their home in Eltham. I've never been that far from home...

On Sunday Mum and I were watching the Clipsall 500 and I asked Mum what she thought of Good Year tyres versus Bridgestones. She told me it was a nice day wasn't it. So I tried again to make conversation and asked her what she thought of Craig Lowndes defecting to Ford and she said "Oh you want more food do you?". Sheesh. How long before parents can understand what we say? I'll have to ask Bethany when I next see her.

Speaking of Bethany, Mum says we held hands at the last Mothers Group but we were both asleep. What good is that?!!

I played with Harry last Friday which was fun. He crawled over to me and put his hand around my shoulder which I was pretty impressed with. I can't crawl yet but it looks like much more fun than lying around and rolling over. Okay, trying to roll over, I haven't quite made it yet.

Uncle Adam came over last night and played with me. We had great fun, he is very cuddly and played with me for a long time. He took me for a walk too, so Mum and Dad could hold hands and cuddle instead of pushing me. I like someone else pushing my pram, I only need to look at Mum for so many hours in the day and I'm sick of her daggy hair. Oops, did I say that?

I had dinner at Granny's on tuesday and met her friend Penny. I like her, she made me smile. Granny gave me an outfit that I look really spiffing in. Light blue pants and a top. And she also gave me a really cuddly blanket that's silky soft and yummy to cuddle up in. Thanks Granny!

We had a party at Mothers Club on thursday because it was our last one. There was lots of food and heaps of people. I got to see Bethany. I tried to catch her eye, but she looked away when I looked at her and I looked away when she looked at me. We lay next to each other on our mats and I thought I'd casually rest my hand on her arm but she didn't even acknowledge me. At least she didn't play with Timmy.

Mum and Dad and I went to Brunetti for brekky on thursday, since I woke them up early. Then we dropped Dad at work and went to my favourite shop - Baby Bunting. Mum bought me a red windcheater which is really cool and a polar fleece hat, ready for winter. And she also got me a high chair, YAY! Food soon. We also got some play things for me to chew on when my gums get sore, which they have been a little bit lately.

We took Dad to the airport on Friday. Waaaaa! Won't see him for 5 days. Then I got Mum's cold. So I've been a bit miserable over the weekend. But I did get to see Aunty Jo and John. I like sitting with John, he's a bit soft and cuddly like Uncle Adam. We all went to the beach and I saw the sea for the first time. It was all shiney and shimmery and very pretty, especially with the sunset.

We got you, Uncle Ad, now give up!

Are we too cool, or what?!

Watching the ducks on a breezy day...but nothing stops me from wearing my muscle shirt.

I'm not dizzy, no, no...

Whoaah!! Grampa made this for me!

Night-night, Mummy!
